Is Peoplestring a Scam?

I don't believe Peoplestring is a scam. I have been with them since they company started and I have never had any problems. I have made a bit of money from them. Peoplestring is constantly growing, adding new features and products on a regular basis.

If you like social media, then you will like Peoplestring. The Peoplestring network is sort of a social network hub. You can connect to facebook or twitter from the site. You can also connect to instant messengers like yahoo, aim, or msn.

They have a new "Hot Deals" section which gives you money for completing tasks like watching movie trailers and signing up for deals. You can also get rebates for shopping through Peoplestring. For instance, if you shop at Wal-Mart, you can get up to 2% cash back on what you purchase.

You can spend a lot of time on the site. There are plenty of things to do. Signing up if free. What I suggest is signing up and browsing around on the site. If you decide you like it, you can then promote it and make even more money with it.

Making Money Update

Well, I have gotten tired of doing the log in and click thing everyday with the PTC programs. I can't say anything bad about them because they gave me the money to buy my own domain names, webhosting, and other tools that I needed to make money.

So gone are Neobux, Clixsense, and those other programs that I used. I focus now on my websites. I have several and they are all doing pretty good right now. I am not making a full time income at the moment, but maybe one day I will. I still use free tools as much as I can. I use Free Traffic System on a regular basis. I also use a tool called IMAutomator for bookmarking. It works pretty well.

I use affliliate programs, amazon.com, and adsense as my sources of income on my websites. I have been looking into Chitika and have an application submitted for approval. So I may try that as well.

My next step will probably be more passive in nature. I am looking into peer lending programs. You know, those programs like Prosper and Lending Club. They have been around for a while. I have actually been keeping my eye on peer lending for a couple years now. It seems to be a good investment, as long as you do some research and invest with some common sense. The return on investment looks to be pretty good, so I may use some profits from my money making websites to do a trial run in those programs.

It has been close to year know since I began this attempt to start making money online without any startup funds. Well I can honestly say it has been a success. I am not making a full time income but I think it is a start. I have proven that you don’t really need any money to start making money online. The thing that you will need is hard work. This doesn’t happen magically it will take lots of reading and more importantly writing. I have written lots and lots of content over the past year. I have learned a great deal from others. Just do a “make money online” search on Google and you will get everything you need from the first page of results. Actually, some of those results are the free blogger blogs that I have used. I have probably learned more by just getting ideas and trying them out. That is what you will have to do, get some ideas, start writing and getting backlinks, and try things out. Then you will find what formula works well for you and you can then expand on those results.

So how did I get started?
The first thing I did is start some blogger blogs. I wrote about things that interested me and I knew a lot about without having to do tons of research. I then did research on what keywords I should use in order to get my blogs noticed and earn income. I signed up for ad sense and then joined Commission Junction (not aff link) affiliate programs. It worked out nicely.

Second, I joined a few paid to click programs. The three most successful ones for me were:
Neobux
Clixsense
Bux.gs

I did pretty well those and I am continuing to use them. I used the money I made with those programs to help purchase a couple things. I will talk more on that later. Another thing that I found over the past several months is that renting referrals for PTC programs didn’t really work well for me. I was just spinning my wheels having to constantly renew referrals and not making any money. I am sure there are good strategies to help people make good money by renting referrals but I didn’t. you will have to promote this programs to get referrals, this doesn’t happen magically. Start a blog, mention it to friends, do whatever you have to do to get direct referrals.

The thing I did do was focus on getting those direct referrals as mentioned above. I ending up getting some good ones and I didn’t have to worry about renewing them so I was always making extra money as long as I logged in a clicked every day, which only took a few minutes.

Third, I joined Peoplestring. I was skeptical of this when I joined, but it was free so I gave it a shot. Peoplestring pays you to use their site basically. They also have a program that gives you money for reading mail and visiting websites. You get money from referrals as well. There are tons of things you can do with Peoplestring to make money, I just did a few of them. I read the mails that were sent and visited websites. I also got a few referrals. I should also mention that you get revenue sharing money as well. The more you use the site, the more revenue sharing money you get. Its not a lot but it adds up. You will have to promote this program just like you did the paid to click programs for direct referrals.

Fourth, I made squidoo lenses, hubpages, infobarrels , and article directories like GoArticles.com to promote my blogger blogs and get backlinks. I didn’t start doing really well until I did this. This really helped with my G rankings and sent me quite a bit of traffic.

I also joined Free Traffic System for backlinks and I like it very much. It has helped me quite a bit in getting traffic…….and its free too.

Here’s the Cliffs Notes version of what I did:

Created Blogger Blogs of things I enjoyed or knew a lot about.
Wrote lots of content on those blogs
Used adsense and commission junction affiliate programs for income
Used paid to click programs for income
Used Peoplestring for income
Wrote on Squidoo, Hubpages, Infobarrel, Free Traffic System, and article directories for backlinks and traffic

This sounds like a lot of work, and it is. You have to do it, though, if you want to make money online. It is not easy, if it was, everyone would be doing it.

What have I done with the profits I have made using the above sites?

First thing I did was buy a product called Micro Niche Finder. I love this thing. It is a tremendous help and it saves a lot of time when you are searching for keywords for you sites. This costs around a $100 but it is definitely worth it.

I also bought some domains and some web hosting from Hostgator. It cost about $40 for the domains (with coupon) and it will cost about $10 a month for the hosting.

So, slowly but surely I am starting to make some pretty good money….all from scratch. In time will use more of the profits from my owned domains to buy more names and create more sites…..gotta diversify! I will stain maintain some of my Blogger blogs. I transferred some of them to my owned domain. I feel better about having my own domain. I feel I have more control that way. I am not under Google’s control as much if I had nothing but the Blogger blogs. Plus the site is totally mine and I can sell it if I want to.

So that’s it. That is what I did to create some money on the web. Again, it is not easy but it can be done. It will just take some patience and hard work to get there.

First of all, what is adsense and how does it work?

Don't Click on Your Own Adsense Ads

Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it. It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.

Click fraud is clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing. A newbie would think it is easy to make money with adsense, just click on the ads in their website. That is a big no no and will get you banned completely.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.

Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.

Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using “negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.

People string has been going strong for a few months now. I am starting to make a decent amount of money. Especially since the cashbox mailbox has started. It is very simple to do. As of today I have only received one postcard in the mail. I have completed those tasks. Now Peoplestring gives you a master code to enter when you visit websites. You generally get 10-20 cents per website visit.

All of these benefits are even greater if you can generate some Peoplestring referrals. So far this seems like a well run company with several options available to members to make some cash. You can make money without referrals, it is just easier to make good money with referrals.

Social networking with Peoplestring
Members can now check all their social networking sites while visiting the member site. Whether its Twitter, Facebook, or Myspace, you can check them all there. Your best bet initially is just to log in and click on everything…..find out what everything does and get used to using the resources available to you at Peoplestring.

Cash Register

You have a cash register in the top left hand side of your monitor. It tells you what your current monetary balance is. This will also tell you of your status with Peoplestring….whetere you are a free Member or entrepreneur (paid member).

How to make money with Peoplestring

Well the first thing you can do is click on your mailBox cashbox button, and take a few moments and do the survey. After you finish the survey you should have about a dollar and a half in your register. Once you finish this, you can expect companies to send you snail mail based on your answers in the survey. You get 35 cents per piece of mail that is sent to you. You must enter a code that is provided in the mail. Don’t worry, it is not a ton of mail that you will receive, your mailbox won’t be flooded with junk.

Keep doing this and the money will add up. You can get payments once your register reaches $25. Paid members get paid every two weeks, regardless of the amount they have in their register.

Referrals

Every time you sign up a new member, Peoplestring will pay you $.50. It is very simple to do and you can get referrals in several ways. You can send emails to your friends and family….It doesn’t cost them anything. You can create a website a promote Peoplestring to get even more referrals.

You don’t just get the $.50 for your referrals. You also get 5% of each referral’s earnings. People you signed up are 1st level referrals. Anyone they signed up are considered 2nd level referrals. You get 2% of their earnings. You also get this percentage 6 levels deep….so this can really add up once you start getting just a few referrals.

If you sit down and think about getting just a few referrals and then your initial referrals sign a few people up and then on down the line, you can see how profitable this business can be.

The more Peoplestring referrals you have, the more aware your referrals will be of how much money they can make, the more money you can make.

Making more money with Peoplestring

As mentioned earlier, you get paid to use the Peoplestring site. You get paid by using coupons to use at retailers.

You get paid for online shopping with cash back bonuses from many major retailers.

I think you really should try to get referrals, it can really benefit you. How Do I make the most money?

I would suggest using Peoplestring for everything you can….email, shopping, searching…supporting the site is key to making money.

Also, I mentioned it earlier…referrals. Don’t hesitate to ask friends and family. Its free they are not out any money….no risk at all to them. Just tell em to sign up and give it a try.

The Entrepreneur Option

As an entrepreneur you will get all the benefits of membership plus the tools that are required to operate a business. You get a higher commission, which is 20% for the 1st level and 6% on the 2nd through 6th level. You also get web hosting for 5 urls, and domains with up to 20 email accounts. Sounds like a good idea.

There is also the possibility of getting stock in the corporation, which will go public soon.

The cost of the entrepreneur option is $200. If you are interested in using the internet to make some money. This may be a good option, especially with the domains that you get.

I like Peoplestring so far. I have a few referrals and starting to see my income grow. I am strongly considering the entrepreneur option due to me having some internet real estate.

So far so good. My earnings are increasing daily. I am making money with paid to click sites, adsense, affiliate programs, and various other passive investments. The passive investments were made from my earnings with free programs.

Paid to Click Sites
My best performer is still Neobux. The website is never down, it's very easy to navigate, and they are consistent with their ads. You usually get 4 or 5 per day. I really like renting referrals. It's an investment but you can recycle the referrals that are not doing any clicking for you. This has to be done the first week or you are stuck with them for a whole 30 days. I have some direct referrals that are not doing as well. I would say almost half of them are not clicking at all. I'm stuck with them. I am not complaining though because I am doing better with Neobux than I ever expected.

My other good programs are Clixsense and Bux.gs. I am doing well with both programs and I have never had a problem with them. The payouts are higher with these two so you have to get the referrals to get to that payout quicker. The only drawback with Clixsense is that some days they will have only 1 or 2 clicks for me.....a couple of days I had 0, which makes getting referrals all the more important. Bux.gs is about the same as Neobux with respect to the amount of ads per day. It's usually 5 or 6 that you can click on.

Folks, the key with all these programs, especially free ones, is referrals. I know I have said it before, but to make it worth your while you have to get them. It makes making money online a whole lot easier. Start up a blog, tell your friends, do whatever you need to do to get a few referrals to so you can fill up your Paypal account with cash.

Affiliate Programs
I am doing better and better with affiliate programs. You will make more money with these if you can get the hang of promoting them. These cost no money to join and all you have to do is market them to make the money. I think these programs take some time, it took me quite a while to figure out what I needed to do to market them and make some profits. Some of the programs I am involved with I have been a member of since 2007. So sometimes it takes a while.

Adsense
My adsense numbers are getting better and better as the weeks go by. I have learned a lot about adsense in the past few months and the work is paying off. There are some great places to go on the net for real FREE information about adsense and making money online in general. My advice is to get on the big G and do a search for "making money online". There will be a guy named Grizzly on one of the first few results. Click on him and you will be amazed at the great information that he and his friends provide. Actually I think he is ranked number one for that term.

How much money do you make on each sale? Amounts will vary widely with the various programs. Just pick a program you are comfortable with, a program that looks like it offers products that you yourself would purchase. That will make it easier for you to feel confident in recommending the product.

I recently found an article spinning program through a well respected "make money online" blogger. If this guy recommends it then I will certainly give it a try.

The program is called Jetspinner. I checked some marketing forums and it seems that it is a legit product. The best thing about Jetspinner is that its FREE.

They do have an article submitter program that will submit your articles for you, but it does have a price. So, you can sign up for FREE and get your articles spun and submit them to various sites yourself, or you can pay for the auto submitter program and save yourself some time.

I am planning on giving Jetspinner a test run to see how it performs first.

Neobux still remains my best paid to click(PTC) program at the moment. I have started getting more direct referrals which is a big plus to help get my overall referral numbers up. Renting referrals is good but obviously having direct referrals is the preferred route to take....you don't pay for them!

Along with Neobux, Clixsense and Bux.gs are my favorite paid to click programs. Palmbux is doing better for me. A program that I do not like is Bomblogic. I have stopped using this program altogether.

I have been a memeber of TikTikCash since 2007. TikTikCash is one of the many sites where you make money by reading E-Mail, referring others, playing games, and signing up for offers. TikTikCash also allows you to take surveys, signup for trials and services, sample products, or buy products onlline and get paid to do it. There are thousands of dollars worth of offers to choose from.

Some people won't join a program like this because they think their e-mail inbox will be flooded with e-mails from TikTikCash. That is not the case. I get a few e-mails a week and that's it. No big deal.

The ways to make money with them are endless. Stability is not a problem with these guys. So if you want to add another little profit stream to your online income, give TikTikCash a shot.

Making Money Online Update

I have come to the conclusion that making money online is definitely possible....even making money from scratch.

I think everyone can make money online. Many, many people make the attempt every day only to give up a couple weeks later. I have noticed that those who are successful don't necessarily know more than anyone else. The just WANT IT more. They have the drive and determination to succeed. They are willing to put the work in to see results.

You have to WANT to put in several hours per week, if not per day, to get results that you want.

In the past I have spent more time daydreaming about how great it would be to have 500 websites or blogs getting thousands of visitors clicking on my adsense ads and buying products through my affiliate links.

I know firsthand it won't just come to you. You have to put in lots of hard work to make money online. I didn't start seeing results until I did.

Making money online: where do you start?
Well, you could do several things. I think the key is to decide on something and then do it.....don't be wishy washy about it....DO IT!

If you have a lot of knowledge about a particular subject,or niche, and start a blog. Start writing. Write as much as possible about your niche.

You could focus on writing reviews and selling affiliate products through a company like Clickbank.

Gosh!, there are tons of things you can do. There are also tons of websites and blogs out there that can get you on the right track. That's what put me on the right track.

How am I trying to make money online?
I have found a few niches I will explore and I have decided to focus on writing as much content as I can...getting as much quality information out there as I can. Then focus on getting quality backlinks to my sites later on.

I read on Warrior Forum about a gentlemen that did just this and the google rankings naturally got better and better.

I am hoping that I have chosen an appropriate niche to do just that. Write tremendous amounts of quality information and let the links and rankings come in naturally.

You have seen it on the web I am sure. You can spot someone trying to sell you something a mile away. You don't know if the information is legit. You know some of these people will say whatever they have to sell you on their site or their product.

The good guys on the net, that truly want to help people make money online, are few and far between. I understand people wanting to look out for number one. You want to live comfortably, you want to make money. I don't think you should do it at the expense of others.

I have links to free money making opportunities on this site. I am not trying to hide that fact. As mentioned before, that's why I am here. It's why you are reading this. Right?

OK I digress.

I have joined several free money making opportunities to get the ball rolling.

I have invested the income generated back into the business. Web hosting, PLR articles, I have even joined programs that cost money to join.

I am not worried because the income I am still generating and will generate with the new investments will grow exponentially. which is the beauty of trying to make money online. If you do it right. It grows and grows. The hard work pays off.

Making Money With Giblink: The Compensation Plan

One of the most important things you look for in a program is how are you gonna make money. Well, that's what I look for anyway. The good thing about Giblink is that you can make money as a free member.

It seems that the income, with a little bit of work, can be very good. With 70% revenue sharing, residual commissions, a monthly bonus pool, and the fact that you get paid 4 levels deep....that sounds pretty good!

Another thing I like about Giblink is that the payouts are weekly. You don't have to deal with waiting on those monthly payouts to come in. It's almost like getting another paycheck.

Of course paid members can make more money, but even the free members make money. That way you can try and and see if the network works to your satisfaction. A free member can earn a one-time 10% commission on any sales they make. A paid member earns double the commission on any sales they make and up to 10% on any sales made all the way out to the 4 levels I mentioned earlier.

It all sounds very interesting to me. As with Peoplestring and Me2everyone, the key will be getting referrals. The more referrals you have, the more money you will make. Just like with any other program.

Neobux is still going strong. Referrals with Neobux are making this program one of my favorites. I currently have about 12 referrals and the earnings are finally starting add up. Payments to Paypal have never been a problem. This is a great program!

Clixsense is currently my second favorite program. The payout is a bit higher, but overall this is a great program as well. I enjoy the ease in navigating the site. No frills, nothing flashy. I like it.

Well, you probably can with facebook and myspace, but Giblink is more focused on building business. I have joined Giblink hoping to use is as a connection to like minded people for ideas to help increase my earnings online. People have asked me how I get referrals with Peoplestring. Well, there is no other way to do it but tell other people. Whether it be via e-mail or in person. If you want referrals, just like with any other program, you have to tell people about it.

If you tell enough people you are going to get referrals, then it builds upon itself. That is the only thing I have been doing. So far its working. This is especially true with Peoplestring. I think this is true because people can see that it is a legitimate company....and its FREE.

My favorite paid to click program at the moment is Neobux. Neobux seems to be the most solid of all paid to clicks out there. This program has a huge membership base and a very active member forum, so if you only want to go with one paid to click program, make it Neobux.

I haven't had a lot of success with direct referrals yet, and I was hesitant to rent referrals initially. I currently have 9 referrals rented and I feel I have been lucky for the most part. Surprisingly most of the rentals I have are active. It's very surprising how fast the money can add up when you have active referrals.

So, for now I say renting referrals with Neobux is a great idea. If you get lucky, as I have, and get active referrals it is definitely worth the investment.

How much am I making?
I am making anywhere from 15-20 cents per day....compared to 4 cents per day when I started. Not bad for someone that don't have a clue!

Sqip is a social networking company similar to Myspace. It is similar to a couple of other programs I joined called Me2everyone and Peoplestring. These programs are different than they offer you a chance to become a part of the company and profit from it.

Basically, with Sqip, you are getting shares of stock. When you join they give you 100 shares which are called PEPs. They actually do have value. At this time each share is worth .87 Euros. That is up from about .25 when I first joined. They also supposedly going to be offering dividends on your shares as well. They also say that you will be allowed to sell your shares to them for a profit if you like.

They will also be offering bonuses for signing up referrals to the program. They will be paying out on a weekly basis.

Me2everyone is a new social network where you can meet and chat with friends. You can also shop, watch videos, create a newspaper and even play a lottery. Me2everyone is FREE to join. The admin says that everyone will be able to make money with me2everyone. They state that the company is financially healthy and is dedicated to helping everyone make money.

I have joined and am looking forward to seeing some results with this program. I received 100 free shares for joining. The idea is that the shares will grow in value as time goes on. As I continue to do research it seems that some big players in the online marketing arena think that renting referrals in paid to click programs is a bad idea. They consider this practice a ponzi scheme and the program is doomed to failure. Well, I can see both pros and cons of renting referrals. If you have the patience why not try and get them from your own work. If patience is an issue then why not try and rent some to get your profits up faster. Programs like Neobux has been doing well for months and has no signs of slowing down. I am trying renting referrals from them and so far I am doing well. It would be much easier if I could gain referrals through my online promotion efforts, but that is much more difficult.

Paid to Click programs will be my first source of potential income. It seems that if you want to make some money in PTCs that getting referrals is a must. The two primary ways I will attempt to gain referrals will be:

**Join poular programs that have a strong track record.

**Have a blog or website to advertise your money making programs.

I, like most people, will be attempting to do both. Hopefully the blogs will have enough quality content to gain and maintain a loyal following. It is not something that happens overnight, so we will see when the referrals/results start coming in.

I understand most of these programs don't last very long, so I am hoping to make enough money to purchase a domain and hopefully invest in other, more stable income producing programs.

I have looked into programs like getref.com, but it seems that these types of programs can be somewhat inconsistent. It is still worth a shot. I'll take the referrals however I can get them.
